The Cats in Mathes Lab - Veterinary Hospital Vivarium

Per Open Records Request fulfilled October 2007 - Cats received or being used in protocol, 2002A0047 since January 2007.

This protocol has been updated and approved as 2008A0046. 84 cats will be used with 56 cats for the two thymus studies and 28 cats for the drug resistence study, cats on meth.

10/22/03 - "There is one kitten present and appears to be doing well. Kitten was born on 10.20.03 per caretaker". will have vet check.
Over the next couple days cat and kitten were monitored and on 10/30/03 kitten moved to cat #01QBT6 - nursing
by 11/20/03 cat is back in normal routine - no further mention of the kitten.
